Fifth graders learned about differnet street artists, such as Banksy and Moose. They learned how to create their own stencils and through that process learned about positive and negative space. They used the stencils they created and chalk pastel to design their own street art murals.
3rd Grade learned about the connections between art and the olympics. Here they are showing off their own clay olympic medal designs.
2nd Graders learned about the artist Faith Ringgold and quilting. They created artworks inspired by her book Tar Beach. In these artworks students illustrated themselves flying over special places they dreamed up.
Earlier this year fifth graders learned about stylized lettering and logos to create their own name logo.
